Why the sneaker culture can be fun & a friendly pass time

Who Doesn't Like A Nice Pair Of Sneakers?

It seems like that's what everybody looks at before even making contact with you.

We call that shoe contact.

What can go wrong when talking about sneakers? Something simple to speak of, the designs, the art, the idea they create, is a safe topic that anybody can relate to globally. Almost everyone wants to be a part of the sneaker culture somehow. Sneakers can be nostalgic, creating history behind them, a story an individual can tell. Sneaker life is becoming a lifestyle, creates a person's self-identity, we're a person can be themselves, creates ideas for styles, makes others feel like they can become a trendsetter themselves, you can create your way in your lane.

Sharing memories regarding specific pairs of shoes, often we hear somebody talk about how they remember a particular era regarding sneakers or when an athlete or artist collaborated with a brand. How about this instead, remember when you had a pair of sneakers that made your whole year back in high school or college, the outfits were on point, they made you feel good, and those around you enjoyed the eye candy you provided.

We know the feeling, trust me, the vibe, and the moments we had when we put together that fit going out to that concert or just enjoying the present moment.

How popular a sneaker is usually another reason why some individuals view the sneaker culture as a fantastic pastime. How rare or limited specific sneakers can create a thrill; you want to chase down the ones you want, the fear of missing out making you feel like you have to have it. We're seeing our favorite designers uniting with brands collaborating and creating some of today's sought-after sneakers.

Fashion plays a role in this also; everybody got a little fashion fire in them. As you can see, you start to broaden your perspective on newer things based on the likeness behind sneakers.

We talk about their quality, the build of the many silhouettes, how they perform when worn for whatever occasion, and the technology behind specific sneakers. People like talking about these elements, something so simple becomes so broad. We look towards sneaker releases months before they come out, sometimes up to a year. It's exciting to see something you like keep evolving. One thing about sneakers is none are the same as some would say.

Occasionally we see some heated opinions online regarding certain sellers or disputes between some of our favorite retailers.

When you think about it, it's only sneakers at the end of the day. Be honest with yourself. How do sneakers make you feel?

How do they make you feel when you own a pair you like when you wear them, how do others talk to you when you got them on, do they make you feel complete? The point we're trying to make here, it's a relatable experienced.

The creative side of the sneaker culture has changed dramatically over the years; that's why we can talk about these things cause we know how it is. Every day it is something new, something different coming about.

Think of it from the art perspective; sneakers have special meaning to many of us, now it's even better when we get a chance to wear what represents us in a meaningful way.

The sneaker culture connects different aspects of life into sneakers; we like seeing retailers collaborate. Favorite cereal brand partner up with a sneaker brand? It doesn't get any more fun than that. Ideas come from individuals that want to make the sneaker game so joyful. We see people adding their touches to kicks, simple custom designs, reconstructing original models, and making being a sneakerhead special.

Sometimes we want to withdraw from the world and take our minds off things. I can spend hours looking at my timeline on sneaker content daily; it keeps me going every day, waiting for what's next.

You create all these thoughts on how you would feel if you just had that pair of sneakers; next thing you know, you find yourself liking fashion more so you can match the kicks, colors tones you wouldn't enjoy before becoming a little more tasteful to your liking.

Have you ever created a scenario, picturing yourself with a particular pair of kicks? Just thinking about everything you want to do, you start imagining yourself at concerts & events and how your classmates & friends will react to your shoe game.

In essence, to be connected to something that relates to us, sneakers become one of the biggest pastimes to enjoy; it doesn't matter how many pairs you own or don't own, it's about something you like; that's the important thing here. When you get that " oh, you got those on today, "you killing the game," "why you doing that us man," it's the vibe and feeling that make it friendly and fun.

Make sneakers a lifestyle. . . .
